Late lunch at the office

It's a little ho-hum sometimes, coming back to the office. After a morning of gronking through data and whipping together reports in Excel my left hemisphere is tuckered out.

Strange warm weather we are having these last few days. Didn't need a jacket this morning. Crazy weather. It was nice this weekend. Now it's weird. Not complaining, seeing how some people on the west coast are being washed away by floods and mud. It is just unusually warm right now.

That rare thing, has been glowified.

I think it is time for a haircut.

So I am having a late lunch at the office. My boss actually treated me to lunch, bringing me a burger from Chili's. *Lucky* Chili's french fries are the best!

Yesterday, Z asked, What if the days went backwards instead of frontwards?
Me - Then you would turn 5 on your next birthday instead of 7.
Z - Yeah, but Christmas would be really soon and we would get presents all over again!
This is where W joined in:
W - Yeah! And after Christmas the days would go forward again and we wouldn't have to go back to school for two weeks!
Z - And then it would be my birthday again and the days would start going backwards again!
----
Of course, time is always going forward, and that is why we take pictures and write words and so on. Sunday as we were driving home J and I were talking about all the clearcutting that has occurred since (President)W took office. J has a lot to say about the subject. I mentioned that he could write about is opinions and his insights So we ended up talking about blogs. He asked me what a blog was. (Reminded me of Mr. Williams latest Rabbit Hole article.)
We talked about blogs then, and he thinks it is great that I write all this because it acts as a kind of record of our lives, for our kids, he said, when they grow up and care about that kind of thing. So I started to think and wonder. Maybe it would be a good idea to print out or save or archive somehow this stuff. I mean, how long will this stay, or be able to fit out there in cyberspace on the bloggerserver wherever it may be?
