matière du jour

Thanks to Babelfish today's post title is in French. I like the "du jour" part. It sounds nicer than "of the day," I think.
My college roommate was a French major and she minored in Spanish. She read fat Victor Hugo novels in French and she had lots of spanish speaking friends with whom she spoke in spanish.
When I was expecting our first baby I read the book Desiree, by Annemarie Selinko. It's about Desiree's relationship saga with Napoleon Bonaparte, you know, the infamous French 'emperor.' My hubby recently finished reading 'War and Peace' and in it Napoleon is described in such ways you would think Leo Tolstoy was describing George W. Bush.

Alrighty then. The topic of the day is blogging. Or rather, To Blog, or Not To Blog. It's on the mind of many, and there is much buzz about.
Considered the purpose of her blogging,
Admitted he almost stopped blogging,
Stopped the blogging, men behåller pysselbloggen,
Stopped,
Stopped,
Hardly ever updates anymore,
and those are just the few I have seen lately.

Så är det med det. Jag fortsätter. For now anyway.

That's all, for the matière du jour. For now.
