When you give your 9-year old your old camera...
...to take pictures on a family vacation, be sure the roll of film in the camera is a fresh one so the shots of the great multi colored mesas of northern New Mexico are not overlapping the pictures your 5-year old took with the same camera of his imaginext action figures lined up for battle in the living room back home.
- - - A co-worker has asked me!! to be her wedding photographer. I am jumping with excitement and happiness inside, and at the same time scared to death. It's her WEDDING!!! I want to take all kinds of artsy shots, which is what she wants, and at the same time capture all those traditional posed shots as well. I would like to split myself into 8 different people, give each one a camera and be everywhere all at once.
I am thrilled to have this opportunity. The wedding is not until October 2nd, so I have time to research poses and collect any advice/ tips/ tricks.... and buy a 2nd battery for my battery pack and maybe a couple extra memory cards... Wow. A paid job, doing one of the things I love to do.
