Knitting Know Knothing
I found a pattern for mittens. The pattern is for the Lovikka mittens that look very much like the ones I wore growing up in Sweden. They are woolen, warm, and very soft and good looking! And the snow clumps up in nice marble sized ice balls all over them after a day of playing in the snow.
It is the first time for me to use the 4-needle method. I am having some trouble. I lose count, and have to rip out and start over. Then I lose count again and end up with too many stitches. And then I am coming to terms with that loose stretched out gap between the rows where the needles switch... But I am learning. For every mistake, I learn something new.
