Valentine's Day - was yesterday.
At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet. - Plato

Yesterday when I came home from work the boys were outside in the backyard shooting plastic army men off of a log with the bb gun.
On the kitchen table was a vase bursting with a bouquet of beautiful pink roses.
Yin and Yang, perhaps.
For dinner we had spaghetti with marinara.
For dessert a homemade rich chocolate cake with ganache smeared all over it.
Then, after dinner and dessert, the boys went to their room and played a Tony Hawk skateboarding game while J and I sat on the couch and watched The Bachelorette. J would maybe rather have been laying on the bed listening through his earphones to a bird call CD, but he stayed with me on the couch watching Jen totally not get that Jerry actually likes her on the Bachelorette. Then J says the producers have it all wrong... Instead of sending these people to Bermuda or some other exotic location for their dates they should set them up in front of the TV in the living room watching some reality show while the kids are in their room playing video games, because, that is real romance, people!
