strawberries

On Sunday we popped into the supermarket on our way home from seeing dad at the fire station. We HAD TO buy another box of Frosted Flakes so we would have TWO light saber spoons.
As we checked out I noticed two canvas hats atop two heads at the register just ahead of ours. And a cute little boy stting in the cart beside them.
The hats and the heads belong to Nat's parents who are here visiting from Australia. They are here a while now that Nat just had a baby girl. After hello's and congrats, and nice to see you again, they invited us over, "please, come on over straight away and help us pick some strawberries. We have a gardenful and can't eat them fast enough."
Who can say no to fresh-from-the-garden-strawberries??
I had already planned to visit a little later and we had a small teddy bear to give J as a "Congrats on Big Brotherhood" so we popped on over for a bit, enjoyed a cup of tea, and managed to pick a couple of pints of strawberries.
Also, Z managed to kick LittleJ's new ball over their fence... though I don't think LittleJ noticed as he was quite taken by the little teddy bear.
