I Am Thankful For Apple Pie and Ice Cream

My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is indulging in a slice of delicious apple pie, hot out of the oven, with a large mound of vanilla ice cream on top. Apple pie beats any love and charm that the whole 'sit-down-around-the-feast-at-the-table' can offer ;) And, since this year I was the designated matriarch (sounds glamorous, doesn't it?) which defaulted to mean that I *got to* cook up the Thanksgiving fixins for the boys, I did keep it simple by buying a few things, such as a yummy walnut apple pie, from the grocer's bakery. Then, (while I was running a little fever, feeling all stuffy head,) after spending a couple of hours in the kitchen cooking, baking and preparing, somehow transforming the ordinary to the scrumptious, that hot apple pie and ice cream after the meal tasted especially good!
What am I thankful for? The internet. Without the internet I wouldn't have found that delicious and easy recipe for southern cornbread stuffing. The internet is so handy.
Oh, and I am also thankful for my boys. Who are asleep in their beds right now.
Today.

If you are curious about what I write about here in swedish, and your swedish isn't yet quite mastered, you can try an online translator.
Here is one, and here is another.
The translations are often more hilarious than what I was actually writing about!
